Fast Wrap 1250 is the latest Microline product for flow-wrapping rolls of paper. The machine features a continuous-flow packaging cycle without alternating movements. This optimises machine operation based on roll sizes. One of the main advantages of the Fast Wrap 1250 over other flow wrappers present on the market is that it saves 15% of the wrapping film. This is achieved through minimal film overlap and a complete absence of waste. A state-of-the-art electronic cam drive system contributes to energy optimisation, offering savings of some 30% over a full packaging and shrink-wrapping cycle. Fast Wrap 1250 also offers the option of using pre-printed film with centred printing. This meets customers marketing needs and helps to create a perfect package that is functional and good-looking.
The first order placed by the Neapolitan company was for a side-loading case packer that was fitted to an interfolded towel and toilet paper line. The second was for a dedicated high-performance line for hospital paper rolls production, while the third order was fitted downstream of a state-of-the-art interfolded towel and toilet paper line.
Line layout design should be aimed at efficient product conveyance and, at the same time, optimum production flow, thus saving as much space as possible. The Microline engineering department is ready to help the customer design new layouts or alter existing ones
