Microline has exploited its technical know-how in order to expand into the cotton sector as well. It has specialised above all in case packers for products such as: cotton buds, makeup remover pads and cotton wool.

The markets Microline enjoys a leading position in include cosmetics (perfumery, etc.), non-woven products, personal hygiene products (shampoo, bath foam, soap, and others), disposable products (sanitary towels, napkins, ...) and household cleaning products (sponges, cloths, etc.).

For the latter sector in particular, Microline has developed a specific device for the collation of sponge cloths, which it has already registered a patent for.

CASE PACKERS

These completely automatic machines are designed to form and fill "American-style" slotted cases, i.e. erected and glued cases, also in a display version.

These machines are divided into two different types:

horizontal (side-loading) case packers (ROM), suitable for large-sized cases of products which have a defined shape and are stackable;
vertical (top-loading) case packers (RVM), with a high output speed, suitable for products that are regularly or irregularly shaped, soft or hard (grains, pasta, biscuits, coffee pods ...) and are not stackable.
