AL80 is a machine for the horizontal packaging of products using plastic film configured to product size and is a leading-edge Microline product. The machine can be equipped with a labelling unit that is fully designed and assembled in-house. The device uses a mechatronic system for stepwise insertion of the label, thus allowing operators to work with the label correctly positioned on the product. To avoid product damage and save material, the system does not use glue to keep the label in place. Accuracy of label centring is guaranteed by perfect synchronisation between movements and an electronic control system that ensures the label is correctly positioned on the product. Energy-saving is another advantage, achieved by an electronic cam drive system that optimises resources for the benefit of the environment.
